Children

Ever heard of Denver Test?

Okay, lets just say that you have. For short, the Denver Developmental Screening Test (DDST) is a widely accepted test for assessing children aged 0-6 years to their developmental progress. The name "DENVER" itself refers to Denver city, on where the University of Colorado Medical Center, the creator of the test, is located. The examiner looks for the child ability at the time of the exam, compared to the theoretical developmental milestone. There are lots of questions to ask, to instruct, and to have the child shows to the examiner.

And like everybody knows, children do CRY.
MySpace

There were 17 children aged 6mos-60mos applied for "Lomba Balita Sehat Dukuh Madigondo" held by my K3M team up at Madigondo's Kindergarten last Thursday. My friend (and also my boss Andre) an I, were chosen by the team (my K3M team consists of 6 med students, 4 males and 2 females..till now, I still have no idea, why did they choose me) to conduct the test MySpace.

9 kids were signed up for me,
while my partner in duty only got 6!

Haha..okay2..for you who paid attention, YES, 9 plus 6 equals 15 (and NOT 17). The other 2 kids were:
1. Fell asleep MySpace.
2. CRYING OUT LOUD since the beginning of the contest, so, unfortunately (actually I felt a bit soothed MySpace) , she was disqualified from the contest.

Okay, and as the contest went, i started to feel that i was gifted to do it MySpace
SO SO GIFTED.
to make 3 of my kids CRYING SO SO OUT LOUDLY.

Oh God..MySpace

no big deal, as I said, c'est normal.
Kid DOES cry,,i said that to my head again and again.

but you know, 6 out of 9 kids WEREN'T crying! Oh, okay, 2 of them were about to, but at least, they havent cried yet..hehe..MySpace. And it turned out later, that Andre did even worse..3 kids out of his 6 testees (PLEASE, PLEASE READ IT carefully MySpace !). So that the contest ended at 4.30, I smiled, even I laughed at myself..
No dear, you aint goin' to be a Paediatrician..not if its like this..

FYI, the lil girl pictured on the right, named Zaira, she was the runner up for the contest :) she was a nice little so cheerful girl..happy for her MySpace.

Oh my God, my camera was batt-empty at the time of the announcement, a friend of mine took the picture of the winners with his camera..

I'll go post it another time, im so sorry..

by the way,

I miss my childhood..MySpace

There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted place where colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morning more fragrant than ever again. ~ Elizabeth Lawrence

P.S. Oh, these smileys only trial, i think im just gonna pass next time I post..hehe :P
